3Can’t Be Used With Decora Outlets
By T. McCormick
This is a great idea but it is executed with one severe limitaton: it can’t be employed with the progressed “decora” style outlets. Those are the ones where the plug sockets are housed in a single rectangular unit, with two screws above and beneath to attach the cover. This works great with the old style plugs that have two oval plug sockets and a singe screw in the middle to mount the cover. Unfortunately we had our entire house rewired and can’t use a single one of these that we bought.

5Keeps my one year old from getting electrocuted
By Anthony J. Epter
This is a outstanding product. My one year old loves playing with wires, plugs (anything that may electrocute him). I purchased this in order to protect my computer wires (he had already ruined two wires for my computer) and it works great he cannot get the cover off and is no longer interested. I would just keep in mind that since this is difficult to take off for my one year old it also is for me so I would not commend using this if you need to plug and unplug things on a each and everyday basis.

5great child-proofing item
By tree hugger
this outlet cover is the best I’ve found. It covers adapter plugs, thick extension cords, everything short of power strips. Easy to intall, easy to use and remove. I prefer this item over the outlet cover that snaps shut when the plug is got rid of because when a plug is partially pulled out of socket, there is still a chance tiny fingers may touch a prong and get electrocuted.
